A bit about myself.

     Painting at Badachro.

 

Originally from Dingwall, Ive been painting and picture framing for over 25 years. I work in various mediums including watercolour, pastel and oil, using the dramatic and scenic landscapes around the Highlands & Islands to create a varied selection of work.

 

In my own wee world sketching away! 

 

Scottish traditions are also an inspiration: for example capturing the traditional deer-stalking methods of using Highland ponies.

Several art classes and indoor/outdoor workshops, are run on a regular basis. To encourage those I couldn't see in person, a free Facebook art group "Esther's Art Group", was set up this year; it now has over 100 members and growing. ––– Fancy a new challenge?   If so, I'd be delighted to approve your request to join.     Alternatively, private lessons can be arranged via Zoom.  

 

Teaching at Gairloch.

 

Items for sale include cards, prints and original artwork. A picture framing service is also available on a collection basis. I am happy to discuss commissions.
